Enrolment process

If your child turns 5 years between 1 May and 31 October, they can start school in either:

  • term 3 of the same year
  • or term 1 the following year.

Students enrolled through a mid-year intake will complete 6 terms of Reception.

Your child must be at school by their 6th birthday.  

If our school is not your local school, you can still apply to enrol, but enrolment will only be offered if we have places available.

Apply to enrol

Step 1: Complete an enrolment request form online. Registration-of-Interest-form

Step 2: Return to the school via email dl.0720.info@schools.sa.edu.au

Step 3: The principal will contact you to arrange a tour of our school.

Offers of enrolment

Step 3: You’ll receive an offer of enrolment; make sure you accept an offer by the specified date. 

Step 4: Complete the enrolment pack.  

You’ll need to provide:  

  • a completed enrolment form 
  • a copy of the child’s original birth certificate or passport 
  • residency visa, if you’re a non-Australian resident 
  • proof of address (for example utility bill or lease agreement).  

Transition visits

Before starting school, you’ll get a letter to let you know the dates of your child’s transition visits the term prior to their start date.
